How to Interpret This Chart

Traffic. Traffic refers to the number of people who will regularly walk on the mat or the kind of equipment that will be used on the mat. Anti-fatigue mats designed for high-heat areas are generally designed to perform in industrial applications like manufacturing plants, production lines or other areas that might incorporate CNC machines or metalworking.

Mat Type. Industrial areas with high heat often have unique layouts that cannot be adequately covered with stock mat sizes. Interlocking tile mats are ideal for covering large areas.

Material. Anti-fatigue mats designed for industrial areas with high heat are constructed with a fire retardant, nitrile rubber compound that is chemically treated to be slow-burning or self-extinguishing when exposed to an open flame.

Pattern. Anti-fatigue mats for industrial areas feature pebble patterns that are easy to clean and offer maximum traction.
