Superior Manufacturing Group, Inc., an industry leading manufacturer of floor mat products announces the appointment of Jim Wood as its new President.
A family owned business from the start with roots dating back to the early 1940’s, Jim Wood represents the third generation to lead Superior Manufacturing Group. Mr. Wood brings 30+ years of engineering, operations, and systems management experience including the past 25 years spent with Superior Manufacturing Group. Originally hired as an Engineer in 1987, Mr. Wood also held the positions of Plant Manager, and most recently Director of MIS prior to his being named President.
Mr. Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree (MBA) from the University of Illinois Chicago.

Cushion-Ease® Ergo™ is a resilient rubber anti-fatigue mat with a bubble-top surface texture and multi-nib backing to enhance the ergonomic support of the mat. Cushion-Ease® Ergo™ has a solid top surface with an anti-slip texture that’s easy to sweep clean. Its modular design is compatible with the NoTrax® M.D. Ramp System for on-site custom configurations, and can also be combined with other Cushion-Ease® family products.
Where to use:
Dry environments where added ergonomic comfort and support in a modular configuration may be required; workstations, assembly lines
• A resilient rubber compound and unique support design offers exceptional fatigue relief
• Easy to snap together mats on-site for custom work station platforms
• Optional nitrile rubber borders available for trip-resistant platform
